Public Transport
Public transport is an integral part of transportation in Australian cities and towns. Even though public transport is the backbone of many transport systems around Australia, it is often neglected and improvements are not made until they are badly needed.

However, progress is being made in most systems around Australia. Some notable examples include: Sydney Metro, Melbourne's Metro Tunnel, Brisbane's Cross River Rail and Perth's Metronet.

With continued investment and interest in public transport systems around Australia, this method of transportation will be more attractive to everyday residents.
